Ace Payroll is being phased out on 31 March 2027. MYOB has advised existing users to transition to modern payroll software before this date.
Most Ace Payroll users are fully switched to PayHero within 1–2 business days, depending on data size and complexity.
Our Managed Onboarding Service takes care of the move from Ace Payroll to PayHero, from preparing your data through to your first live pay run.
All we need is your latest Ace Payroll backup file, and we can tell you where to find it.
Our team will review your current payroll setup, prepare your data for PayHero and import your employee details and pay history. You’ll have a chance to review everything before you go live, and we’ll help with any adjustments that are needed.
You can also run a parallel pay to confirm everything matches your old system.
Once you’re ready, we’ll walk you through your first live pay run on a screen-share, so you know everything is set up and ready to go.

We can securely migrate all your key payroll data straight from your Ace Payroll backup file. This includes Employee details and Pay history.
PayHero doesn’t directly integrate with MYOB Accounting. However, you can easily export your payroll journals from PayHero and import them into MYOB manually.
Many of our customers already do this as part of their pay run, it’s a quick, straightforward process that keeps your accounts fully up to date.
You sure can! PayHero has a free trial that gives you access to all the features. You can choose to subscribe any time during or after the trial. All information you enter during the trial period will be retained.
We also have a demo account pre-loaded with some example employees that you can have a play around with at any time.
We accept Visa & MasterCard or direct debit payments.
We bill at the start of each month for usage in the previous month.
Monthly billing is based on your usage. That way you’re not paying for inactive employees, such as seasonal employees during the off season.
Your monthly charge is made up of a base fee, and a per-employee charge based on the number of unique employees paid or with a timesheet entry in the month. If you have an employee who isn’t included in a pay run or timesheet during the calendar month, you won’t be charged for them.
